What is a tripwire?

A small offer that lives on the thank you page of your lead magnet. It is offered for a limited time and CANNOT be found anywhere else. There has to be a level of exclusivity and scarcity included. It might seem like a small thing, but it can make a big difference in your sales strategy.

  • Your tripwire has to make sense for the lead magnet and final offer. For example, if you have a membership, a great tripwire would be something like $7 for a free 30 day trial in your membership.

  • Use a tripwire to liquidate your ad spend. As you make money from your tripwire, putting it back into your ad spend is the way to go so that you do not have any barriers as to your spending on Meta Ads.

  • A tripwire can help generate leads for free and it can create massive change in your business. It can help liquidate your ad spend, make a profit and help more people.
